What: J-POP FEST: The Grand Event
Where: Megatrade Hall 1, SM Megamall
Time: 10:00A.M. to 9:00P.M
When: March 11, 2012
J-Pop Fest: The Grand Event will showcase a variety of fun Japanese pop-inspired attractions including dance contests, singing contests, fashion shows, live performances, cosplay, Japanese foods and kawaii goodies. The event will be organized by the same team who made the J-POP Fesival 'Kick-off Party!' possible, and this time in partnership with Megatrade and SM Megamall. This amazing event will start from 10:00 am and will last till 9:00 pm.
We are inviting all hardcore J-POP fans, Cosplayers, Exhibitors, Fan Clubs to come and enjoy the ultimate Japanese Popular Culture experience at J-POP FEST: THE GRAND EVENT!

J-POP Fashion Show – Strut your stuff and hit the catwalk with the latest Tokyo trends, or go old school with traditional Japanese fashion, Gothic, Lolita, Harujuku and more!
ANIME and JDRAMA Cosplay Competition – Which would you cosplay? Shinichi Kudo or Oguri Shun in the live action series? Want to cosplay solo as Kumiko Yamaguchi or want to invite your friends to cosplay as a group as the Class 3D at Shirokin High School?
J-ROCK ‘Band Battle Royale’ – Various bands will clash and make noise as they bring the Japanese rock music!

organization of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, would be
celebrating its 2nd year anniversary with our annual event entitled the
PUP Otaku Xperience (OXP). PUP Otaku Xperience is an open space...
2 day anime convention to be held on March 2-3, 2012 at the PUP Freedom
Plaza, PUP Main Campus Sta. Mesa Manila, Philippines. The event is jam
packed with fun and surprises as Otaku U Rule launches the Ignite Anime
campaign. Ignite Anime Campaign is designed to reenergize and
reinvigorate the anime fandom and individual anime brand with fun games
and activities for the enjoyment of the general public.
This year PUP Otaku Xperience will be a 2 day event with the theme: “Philippine Anime New World Order.” Aside for the main campaign of the event, as a tradition, we will be featuring multiple events and they are the following:

Last year the event was a great success, not only did the event was attended by more than 5,000 students it was also attended by both japanese and korean guests as well. This year we are upgrading the event and will feature more activities for the delight of our international guests and members.
