Tokyo International Anime Fair marks its 11th Anniversary

When: March 22 to 25, 2012
Where: TOKYO BIG SIGHT (East Exhibition Halls No. 1, 2, 3 and others.)


Tokyo Anime Fair 2012, the  largest Anime related event, to be held from March 22 to March 25, 2012 at Tokyo Big Sight. Under the theme of Disaster Recovery, the Fair will include theme related events, as well as an international pavilion, and a great number of stage events.

2nd PUP Otaku Xperience

Otaku U Rule! The premiere japanese pop culture oriented student organization of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, would be celebrating its 2nd year anniversary with our annual event entitled the PUP Otaku Xperience (OXP). PUP Otaku Xperience is an open space... 2 day anime convention to be held on March 2-3, 2012 at the PUP Freedom Plaza, PUP Main Campus Sta. Mesa Manila, Philippines. The event is jam packed with fun and surprises as Otaku U Rule launches the Ignite Anime campaign. Ignite Anime Campaign is designed to reenergize and reinvigorate the anime fandom and individual anime brand with fun games and activities for the enjoyment of the general public.

This year PUP Otaku Xperience will be a 2 day event with the theme: “Philippine Anime New World Order.” Aside for the main campaign of the event, as a tradition, we will be featuring multiple events and they are the following: 

• Anime Exhibition and Trade Fair
• Jrock Battle of the Bands
• Jpop Singing Contest
• Matsuri Contest
• Cosplay Competition
• Anime Drawing Contest
• Voice Dubbing Contest
• Banzai ***
• Toy Designing Contest ****
• JFashionista *** Fashion Show
• Toys and Cosplay Photography Contest
• Fun Games and Many More

Last year the event was a great success, not only did the event was attended by more than 5,000 students it was also attended by both japanese and korean guests as well. This year we are upgrading the event and will feature more activities for the delight of our international guests and members.

Rules for the Contest:
Two Categories:

A. Mild : "Any Brands" casting can be submitted

In the mild category only repaint and wheels changes are allowed.

No body modifications are allowed.

For Wheel changes any wheels can be used from any Diecast brand.

simple graphics and decals can be used.

Prizes:
1st Prize : 3,000 cash plus die cast
2nd Prize : 1,500 cash plus die cast
3rd Price : 1,000 plus die cast

B. Wild : Only "Hot Wheels" casting can be submitted

In the Wild Category Anything and Everything goes. Outer and Interior cutting , stretching , adding parts , Wheels , Paint Etc. Nothing Held back.

The Main casting must be from Hotwheels , other parts used for customizing in the Wild Category can be from any Brand of Diecast Vehicle or item.

Detail and Imagination is most important.

Prizes:
1St Prize : 5,000 plus Diecast
2nd prize : 3,000 plus Diecast
3rd price : 1,500 Plus Diecast
