Chihayafuru (Season 1)

Chihaya Ayase is a school girl who becomes fascinated by the obscure world of competitive karuta, a card game based on Japanese poetry. Introduced to the aggressive style of the game by a quiet and thoughtful classmate named Arata Wataya, the two quickly become close friends. As Chihaya takes on her dream of becoming Japan's best karuta player, she is soon separated from her karuta playing friends as they grow up. As high school life begins, they meet once again.

Bleach Season 3 returns to the build-up of the impending war between the Shinigami and the Arrancar as protagonist substitute Shinigami Kurosaki Ichigo seeks help to conquer his inner Hollow. As Kurosaki Ichigo seeks out the Visored – former Shinigami who have acquired Hollow powers – led by Shinji Hirako, The Arrancar - Hollows who have removed their masks and gained Shinigami-like powers – invade Karakura Town and is met in battle by Captain Toshiro Hitsugaya and his comrades.

Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts 2

When a fight breaks out at Fumizuki Academy, nobody throws a single punch. Instead, the students utilize the school’s technology to summon Avatars, pint-sized stand-ins of themselves – with battle
powers based on their individual academic ability – to fight it out, under faculty supervision.


That “academic ability” part is bad news for good-hearted Yoshii because he is an idiot (Japanese word for idiot - ‘Baka’), or at least that is what everyone calls him. He is stuck with the slackers in lowly Class F where students sit on rotting tatami mats and use orange crates as desks.


If Yoshii and his misfits want to escape their dump of a classroom and earn some respect, they will have to fight their way up the ranks and take on Class A, the Academy’s brightest students who enjoy computers, air conditioning and free snacks.


The going will get tougher in this second season for Yoshii and his fellow underachievers of Class F, but once they get motivated, they don’t give up – and they can’t even spell surrender!

Sergeant Keroro Season 4

The fourth season of Sergeant Keroro welcomes back the lovable, amusing and disagreeing quintet of colourful frog-like aliens who have been abandoned by their home planet after a failed mission to take over Earth…

The series continues the amusing misadventures of the frog-like extraterrestrial platoon, led by titular mad-cap green anti-hero Sergeant Keroro. Always distracted by his obsession for Gundam robot models, love for karaoke, Keroro juggles his pathetic job of domestic helper in the Hinata family, and his often-ignored and ineffective role as platoon leader. Now he spends more time wielding a vacuum than he does the weapons of war.

Keroro’s dysfunctional platoon is made up of Private Second Class Tamama in black, Keroro’s only supporter who is adorable and gentle, but turns into a violent maniac when provoked; Corporal Giroro in purple, the team’s stern and deadly sharpshooter; Sergeant Major Kururu in yellow, the unpopular and insidious intelligence officer and inventor; and the skillful yet often-overlooked ninja-assassin in blue, Lance Corporal Dororo.

Complete with constant bickering and silly antics, Keroro’s wacky platoon members work terribly together, but combine perfectly as a bungling motley crew to bring endless laughs to the entire family.

Sergeant Keroro (Season 4) premieres 1 August 2012, airing Mondays to Fridays at 5.30pm (SG, PH, MY) / 4.30pm (WIB)

Hunter x Hunter 獵人(新版) on Animax

 Premiering 24 April 2012 and airing Mondays to Fridays at 7.30pm first and exclusively on Animax, Hunter X Hunter is the October 2011 reboot of the 1999 anime series to more closely adapt the well-loved manga series of the same title.

In the fantastic universe of Hunter X Hunter, Hunters are exceptionally skilled individuals who specialize in seeking out fearsome, exotic creatures, hidden treasures, secret enclaves, unexplored lands, and other incredible individuals. To be a Hunter, one requires a license, and fewer than one in a hundred thousand can pass the grueling qualification examination that is a series of brutal tests of will, skills, wits, survival instincts and teamwork.

Hunter X Hunter follows the trials and tribulations of Gon, the 12-year-old son of Ging Freecss who disappeared 12 years ago and is today a legendary Hunter. Despite his aunt's protests, Gon is determined to follow in Ging’s footsteps to try to understand why his father chose to become a Hunter over raising him, and hopes that he will one day find his father and be recognized as a great Hunter in his own right.



Although a country boy, Gon has a sparkle in his eyes and high aspirations. Beyond his young years, Gon is composed and courageous even in the face of tough tests and dangerous adversaries. Naturally talented, he possesses superhuman senses, uncanny learning potential, great social skills and immense determination, yet can be reckless and irrational at times. Gon’s journey starts on his long, arduous trip to the Hunter qualification examination, along which he befriends Killua, Kurapika and Leorio, fellow candidates who share his great desire to become Hunters.



























 Killua Zoldyck, who wields electricity as his weapon, is trying to leave behind his murderous life as a member of a notorious family of assassins. Kurapika, the last surviving member of the Kurta race whose irises turn scarlet when angry, is striving to avenge his people who have been slain for their valuable eyes by thieves named the ‘Phantom Troupe’. Leorio Paladinight is an aspiring physician who dreams of providing free medical help to the poor after he had lost a friend to an illness that he could not afford to get treatment for. Embarking on an amazing adventure that begins with the Hunter exam as Gon and his friends navigate a deadly jungle, hunt down other candidates, kill a wild boar, run an extraordinarily long underground marathon, and even make sushi!


Produced by leading Japanese anime studio Madhouse which gave the world hit anime series including Death Note and Nana, the new Hunter X Hunter anime series is directed by Hiroshi Koujina. The popularity of the TV series has also led to the recent confirmation of a new Hunter X Hunter anime movie based on an original story arc not found within the anime and manga series, for theatrical release.


In addition to the anime and manga, Hunter X Hunter has inspired 10 different videogames ranging from role-playing, strategy, action to adventure games for the WonderSwan, Game Boy, Sony PlayStation and Nintendo DS consoles.
