All roads lead to SM North Cyberzone on April 27 as we bring the coolest virtual playground to life! Join us for the Friendster FunXtion (fun-nection) where you can discover new friends, play games and enjoy rewards!
FunXtion is a cross between fun and connection – fun-nection!And that’s what the new Friendster is about – it’s a social discovery platform where you get to hang out with your friends (or even meet new ones!) and stay connected with them by enjoying your favorite games, or simply keeping in touch through chat.


Discover New Friends:It’s a one day grand eyeball of all Friendster buddies – gamers, cosplayers, or just anyone who wants to explore the new website. We’ll meet up at SM North EDSA, 4th Floor Event Area – it’s gonna be packed with booths and activities so bring your friends along! The best part is – it’s all for free! And if you’re into cosplay, then that costume might just win you cool prizes so get ready to strut your stuff with other avatars! 

Play Games:Get your game on as we hit the play button – come for the Boomz Tournament, or challenge your friends in one of our games because we are giving out FREE game codes to players who will drop by. And who’s up for a Flip Top duel? Find out who’s bringing the house down to bust some rhymes!

Enjoy Rewards:Join the mob as we jam with Callalily, Gracenote and Paraluman and stay on for the rest of the show – we’ll be giving out cool gadgets, GC’s and cash prizes!

Prepare for a very special otaku festival this summer as Henshin Hero Philippines, together with JEFusion presents to you NATSUMONOGATARI: A Summer Tale. Beat the heat with a burning Otaku Spirit!

Event Highlights Include:



  • Summer Cosplay - Cosplaying gets a very unique twist just to beat the summer heat! See your favorite characters dressed in their summer festival versions!
  • Anything Goes~ Summer Trivia Wars - A war of minds and wits will be unleashed in this very RANDOM trivial battle! Will you weed out one of your teammates to get ahead of the competition?
  • Singing Contest - Train your vocal chords for a chance to win the Karaoke contest!
  • Summer Art Contest - You're an art junkie? Grab your pens and tablets and showcase your art!
  • Food Eating Contest
  • Band performance
  • Guest Performances
  • Dance Battle
  • Summer Games - Watermelon whacking! Origami Boat Battle! Tug of war! You just see these in obligatory anime beach episodes/ But now you could play these!
  • Hanabi (Fireworks) Viewing - A Summer Festival isn't complete without the fireworks. Dress on your favorite yukata and watch the sparkles fly.
  • And a VERY SPECIAL announcement during the event. You dont wanna miss this because this will literally CHANGE your world!
The date is set on May 19, 2011, gates open at 10:00am and ends at 9:00pm. We also have prepared for something BIG coming on this event so don't you dare miss it.

Ticket Prices:
Php 150.00 for regular attendees.
Php 100.00 for children.
